    Day 1 Arrival and Transfer to Darjeeling

    Begin your unforgettable family vacation as you arrive at Bagdogra or NJP, where The Travel Stations team greets your family. Climb into the cool Himalayan foothills to reach Darjeeling. Check into your family suite, unwind, and spend a relaxed evening together enjoying the bustling atmosphere, local bakeries, and street markets around Chowrasta square.

    Day 2 Darjeeling Heritage and Toy Train Joyride

    A thrilling day of fun activities awaits your family. Start with the iconic Tiger Hill sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, followed by a visit to Batasia Loop. After breakfast, The Travel Stations will help you board the historic Darjeeling Toy Train (subject to advance booking) for a nostalgic steam engine joyride. Spend your afternoon visiting the Red Pandas at the local zoo and taking a family ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway.

    Day 3 Darjeeling to Gangtok Mountain Drive

    Check out after breakfast as The Travel Stations drives your family north toward Gangtok. The road trip is highly engaging for kids, featuring roadside views of converging mountain rivers and lush valleys. Arrive in Gangtok, check into your hotel, and spend the evening enjoying a relaxed family walk along the clean pedestrian zone of MG Marg.

    Day 4 Family Excursion to Tsomgo Lake

    Your private family van or SUV from The Travel Stations will drive you up to the highaltitude Tsomgo Lake. Your family will love the chilly alpine weather, the opportunity to slide on snow patches (seasonal), and taking memorable family photographs riding decorated yaks along the pristine mountain lake shore.

    Day 5 Gangtok City Exploration

    Discover the cultural highlights of Gangtok with your family.     Enjoy a hearty final breakfast in the hills before checking out. Your private vehicle from The Travel Stations will pick up your family for a smooth, comfortable journey back down to Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station for your departure home.

    • Entry fees to monuments, monasteries, parks, museums & sightseeing attractions.
    • Nathula Pass permit & sightseeing (optional and chargeable).
    • Yak ride charges at Tsomgo Lake.
    • Personal expenses such as shopping, laundry, beverages, telephone bills, etc.
    • Camera & video charges wherever applicable.
    • Porterage and driver tips.
    • Early check-in & late check-out charges.
    • Expenses arising due to weather conditions, landslides, roadblocks, flight/train delays, political disturbances, or any unforeseen circumstances.
    • Anything not specifically mentioned under Package Inclusions.

Term & Condition

Booking & Payment

  • A booking amount is required to confirm the package.
  • Full payment must be completed before the tour commencement.
  • Travel vouchers and hotel confirmations will be issued only after full payment.

Hotel Policy

  • Standard hotel check-in is 2:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM (subject to hotel policy).
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional charges.
  • Hotels are subject to availability. Similar-category hotels will be provided if required.

Transportation

  • Sightseeing and transfers will be provided strictly as per the itinerary.
  • Vehicles are for point-to-point sightseeing only and cannot be used for personal purposes.
  • Hill station sightseeing is subject to local taxi union rules.

Permits & Sightseeing

  • Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir visits are subject to weather conditions, road accessibility, and government permits.
  • Nathula Pass is optional, subject to permit availability, weather conditions, and additional charges.
  • No refund will be provided for sightseeing missed due to weather, landslides, government restrictions, or road closures.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation charges will be applicable as per the company's cancellation policy.
  • Non-refundable bookings such as hotels, permits, or transport will be charged accordingly.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–14 working days.

Changes & Amendments

  • Any modification after booking confirmation may attract additional charges.
  • The Travel Stations reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances while providing suitable alternatives wherever possible.

Guest Responsibility

  • Guests must carry valid government-issued photo identification during the tour.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the trip.
  • Any damage caused to hotel property or vehicles by guests will be chargeable directly.

Force Majeure

  • The Travel Stations shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes caused by natural calamities, landslides, strikes, political unrest, flight/train delays, or any circumstances beyond our control.
